LONDON and LOS ANGELES (Sept. 25, 2025) – London Irish Rugby Club officially kicked off its comeback to competitive play today, formalising a partnership with Tixr, a global technology leader modernising ticketing and live event commerce. To jumpstart their plans, loyal fans can officially join the club waitlist at londonirishrugbyclub.tixr.com to be among the first to receive the latest news and purchase tickets. Fans who join the waitlist by October 31, 2025 will be entered for a chance to win a pair of season tickets to the Exiles’ planned return in the fall of 2026.

The partnership will be a cornerstone of London Irish’s comeback marketing strategy, giving the club the tools to build its own fan database, make informed business decisions, and offer a unified destination for tickets, upgrades, and matchday extras. Leveraging Tixr’s unique feature set, the club will launch waitlist signups for first access to season packages and single-match tickets, building anticipation for the team’s highly anticipated return. Fans will be able to enhance their matchday experience with intuitive seat selection and advance purchase of parking, merchandise, food and beverage, and more through a highly visual, easy-to-use interface. They will also have the ability to pre-authorize cards for access to sold-out inventory. After purchase, fans can upgrade seats, transfer items to friends, resell unwanted tickets, or return items for credits - all managed seamlessly through their Tixr account.

“Tixr immediately saw the value in London Irish, and we instantly saw the technology they bring as a way to help us enhance the rugby experience for our fans” stated Kyle Jordan, interim CEO for London Irish. "We aim to become a more modern, welcoming brand for our fans all over the world to deliver unforgettable experiences each step of the way.”

“We’re proud to help London Irish harness data to strengthen connections with their supporters and guide smarter decisions as the club builds on its storied legacy,” said Nate Liberman, VP of Sports at Tixr. “Our modern approach to ticketing and marketing will play a vital role in their resurgence, and we’re honored to be part of their comeback.”

About London Irish

London Irish Rugby Football Club, known as “The Exiles”, was established in 1898 by Irish expatriates to provide a “home away from home” for Irish people in London. The club has since expanded to welcome expatriates from around the world.

In February 2025, London Irish was acquired out of administration by an Eddie Jordan-led consortium through Jordan Associates. The new ownership aims to return the club to professional rugby by 2026, re-establishing their West London base while engaging the global Irish diaspora.

The club remains committed to its heritage as a home for exiles in London whilst working closely with supporters and their independent amateur team, London Irish Amateur Rugby Football Club.
